It constantly amazes me that the doorway, an invention that was created for one reason and one reason only: to allow entrance to an enclosed space, has become a place for people to stop and chat and think about their lives and the directions they're taking. Lots of people need to use doorways to get to where they're going, so can we all just agree that if you need to stop and have a conversation, or you need to look at a map or you need to do anything other than MOVE, that you find somewhere besides a doorway to do it?
