Ow, my heart has stopped beating
Sometime in The Future, when all of life's problems have been fixed, and things like problems, dilemmas and stress are thought of as antiques and appraised on Antique Road show for millions, no one will have to have down days, where heartache and stress and workload get the better of them. Future people are damn lucky this way, because not only will they not be burdened by these things, but they won't have to be burdened by wondering why they're so emotionally weak that they're burdened by these things. But these are complex issues for the scientists to solve and serve us solutions that will be administered in gum form, with at least 12 different flavors to choose from.
For now, though, we have to stick with cheering ourselves up, which is actually pretty easy today. Fresh in my memory is a day when I sat on a sunny rooftop with some of the best friends a guy could ever ask for, drinking more beer than I should have, stealing glances at the pretty girls at nearby tables, and looking out over a city that I'm reminded on a daily basis that I absolutely love. Sure this city gets more expensive by the second, but it's too pretty, too much fun, too interesting to leave until I absolutely have to.
