One of the great mysteries of the world
I've always wondered what the business logic is for the places that say that they'll give you your meal for free if they don't give you a receipt. What good does it do them? Why is it so important for the customers to get a reciept? Or is it some appeal to people's greedier side, hoping that they'll attract people who will come in day after day, hoping for that glorious day when the cashier will finally slip up and they'll get a free meal out of it?
I haven't slept in three weeks because of this.

I always thought it was a law they had to do that or something (possibly to keep workers from giving out free food). Still, I'm still waiting for some chump at Sbarro to fuck up one day - one day.
I think you're on to something there! It certainly makes more sense than anything else. I guess it just cracks me up that they act as though we customers are finally getting justice. All those years, we never got receipts! But finally, someone is looking out for the little guy! RECEIPTS FOR EVERYONE!!!
