I'm melting
It's supposed to be 100 degrees today. If you have a thermometer that only shows two digits, you're not going to get an accurate reading. If degrees were dollars, today would be Benjamin Franklin. If you were allergic to triple-digit temperatures, you'd be swelling up like the Hindenburg, and would probably meet the same fiery end. It's hot out.
To cool down a little, listen to one of the best melodies of the year: "Sing For Me" by the Fiery Furnaces. The marching drums and guitar may be a little too energetic for this (or any) weather, but that doesn't keep the song from being the aural equivalent of lying naked in front of the air conditioner.

Sounds good, but where could I hear such a song?
Why, in the areseven.com jukebox, of course!
Also, you could download it on the "Download @R7" link under "Music" on the right side.
Umm...when will it be available in the areseven.com jukebox? :)
Oh...try refreshing the page. If that doesn't work, you'll have to clean out the cache and then refresh.
I had that problem for a while as well. It wouldn't show up until the cache had reloaded. So I just reduced the size of the cache and now it refreshes instantly.
It's there...I promise.
it's hot.
I knew it would be hot, but I didn't think it would be this hot. Tarzan couldn't take this kind of heat.
Who forgot to turn on the air conditioner outside??! I just remembered I left an record outside in my car (actually a 45). I went out to retrieve and figured there was a decent chance it'd be ruined, ie melted in the heat. It *looks* ok. Phew. I'd have been pissed. I haven't even had the chance to play it yet.
That's pretty cool that you have a 45 record player in your car. Doesn't it skip a lot on those rough DC roads though?
If everyone cranked up the A/C in their houses and then opened up their doors and windows, I bet it would cool off the outdoors.
