Washing hands with the stars!
I'd love nothing more than to tell you the story of how I walked into the bathroom at work yesterday to find an Extremely Famous Movie Star washing his hands, but I've gotten paranoid from all the stories of bloggers losing their jobs because of what they wrote. It's a freedom of speech thing, sure, but I like my job, and I don't want to risk it.
So what am I going to say instead? Nothing, really. You may have noticed a huge decline in number and quality of posts around here, so rather than trying to find the time or the topics, I'm going to lay low for a little while. Work time is hoarding every minute I have these days, so it's probably for the best.
I'll be back when I'm recharged and excited about this again.

Oh, torture guessing! Since it never happened, I can't ask you if you tried to make awkward small talk. Because if you did, all you can think while the EFMS is talking is wow, that soothing voice. It's pathetic that it feels so familiar.
Anyway, I understand about getting overwhelmed - but I will miss your posts. Especially the short ones that say - I have nothing to say. Inspiration is overrated.
Thanks, Lisa! Having worked where I work, I think you can guess who the EFMS was. For those of you who can't guess, I can only say that it was very surreal to walk into the bathroom that, frankly, I go into several times a day, only to see Indiana Jones washing his hands.
My hiatuses (hiati?) have been notoriously short. It's just that my normal lunch break posts have not only been stomped on by my work load, but I've been taking work home and working until bed time. No big deal...I enjoy the challenge. It just means that I haven't had much time for this page.
Mostly, though, I've been feeling uninspired. I need to do something else to get the word motor going. Maybe posting only in haiku for a couple of weeks? Word of the day? Who knows. But trust me: I want you to find another blogger to take your time. It's what I want.
Lucky Bastard! In all my days working where you work, I never even got close to the EFMS.
I will be texting you to get more info - you can rest assured.
