R7 Travelogue: Las Vegas after a few

What a difference a few drinks make. Las Vegas When You're Drunk (LVWYD) is a very, very different town than Las Vegas When You're Sober (LVWYSE. The 'e' is silent). Abandoned by my two travel companions, I wandered around the casino last night taking in the sights, before staring in awe of two of the fountain shows in front of the Bellagio hotel.

Oh, alcohol. Giver of confidence, taker of worries. What would we do without you?

I don't like your non-Vegas 'tude. Get on board. Enjoy Vegas. The fountains at Bellagio are one of many sights you need to see. Have you been to the bar at the top of The Hotel at Mandalay? Get there. What about the fabulous restaurants at Paris? What about the great casinos in Bellagio? Find the big Wheel of Fortune game and don't leave 'til you've recouped my losses from February. And these losses were great.

Well, try Vegas with two co-workers, one of whom is doing everything to make your personal and professional life as hellish as possible and the other one who doesn't want to do anything at anytime with anyone. Pack that in with the fact that I'm here for a programmer geek convention. Under the circumstances, I'm having a pretty great time.

That stinks, Reid! To hell with your co-workers...go find yourself a seat for "Love" and make me jealous. Umm...that sounded kind of weird, but I think you know exactly what I mean.
