Awesome indeed

I had a post all ready to go that would have enlightened you to a bizarre human behavior that you will have never noticed before, and would change the way you saw people from here on out, but then I went and got wholly distracted by Pitchfork's 100 Awesome Videos feature today. I may or may not have watched the entire "Hot For Teacher" video. But dear Lord, people, you've got to watch the video for Junior Senior's "Move Your Feet". Brilliant.

Just as brilliant but also missing was two of Spike Jonze's greatest creations: Daft Punk's "Da Funk", which I first saw one day when hanging out at Christian's parents house, and we all sat in awe until we saw the director at the end, and all said at the same time, "Oh, Spike Jonze. No wonder." The other one that's surprisingly missing is his video for Buddy Holly, which is a little gimmicky, but still fantastic.

Welcome back, music videos. We've missed you.

I didn't know videos were still around. MTV hasn't shown one since 1997, in between decade-long marathons of the Real World and Pimp My Ride.
