The purge that comes decades later
I was going to write about going to the Wizards/Mavericks game last night and about how those events are absolute hell for the easily distracted like me. I truly believe that someone who's seriously ADD could actually die at one of those games from the flashing lights and dancers and trampoline acrobats and flying inflatable trucks. Or at least get severe neck strain. It almost seems weird when gameplay actually happens, and it's given me a newfound respect for pro basketball players in that it's amazing that they can take their jobs seriously with all that crap going on around them.
But my head is too full of the stuff that colds are made of to put all of that information in a form that's worthwhile reading. So for those of you who are bored and looking for a little entertainment, I have a very little entertainment to give you: I've been putting together a second purge of my CDs, getting rid of those CDs that I've kept around only for sentimental reasons. And now I'm listening to them, in the form of my shuffled "Never Played" playlist.
The possibly fun part? You can follow along--as it's actually happening--to what I'm listening to on this page right here. And trust me: there's some embarrassing stuff in there. See if you can spot the most embarrassing entry as the day goes on!
I suffer for your happiness, readers. Don't ever forget that.

Wow, you've sure been listening to a lot of 4 Non Blondes lately. ;)
So does this keep track of what you play on your iPod, or just songs that are played straight from your computer?
Primus? Rush? Indigo Girls? Spin Doctors? Yes. 4 Non Blondes? Never.
last.fm is supposed to take the played information from your iPod as well as what you play on computer, but it doesn't work anymore off of the iPod, so that's just what's played on my computer. Shame.
It's especially a shame now that iTunes, on my computer anyway, pops and skips so much that songs become unlistenable.
Are you purging your 4 Non Malmsteens CDs as well, or are you just not quite ready to let those go yet?
4 Non Malmsteens will never be purged from the iPod in my mind.
