She speeds me up and she slows me down
After a couple of months of listening to lots of good-but-not-amazing music, I was craving an immediate swoon. It didn't matter if, after listening to this not-yet-found song, I decided it wasn't as good as I thought it was: I just wanted that feeling of first-listen excitement.
I finally found it after a recommendation from the most unlikely source: ...just kidding. It was from the usual source of my good music: Christian. His review went like this: "The band: Good Shoes. The verdict: good shit!"
Good shit, oh yeah. Go listen to "Blue Eyes", a immediate jolt of desk-chair dancing thrills. The basic sound is nothing new, but the twitchy excitement it brings out in me feels like new.

Hadn't heard this one yet. It's probably the least catchy of all the tunes I've heard though. Not that I didn't still enjoy it or anything though. They are very Futureheads-y.
Reid, I found this a few days ago, listened to it for the first time today, and haven't stopped listening to it. Don't know if it's your cup of tea or not, but it's been on constant repeat here for me:
