Reminder: come see about me
For those of you who haven't gotten word yet...
We'll unfortunately be playing sans trumpet tonight, so if you've always wanted to hear more trombone, this'll be the show for you. Actually, this show would be worth going to if only to hear The Clientele and the Ladybug Transistor in the same night. But the fact that we're playing through a good soundsystem—meaning that I can play loud AND you can still hear Nicole—should be the clincher.

The new Clientele album = utterly fantastic.
I really like it a lot, especially "Bookstore Casanova". I wish Pitchfork had reviewed it today to hype up the show, but oh well...
I loved seeing you guys. I'm sorry that I'm going to have to miss it. :(
