I wonder if it smells good
Reading this morning about the use of vegetable oil for car fuel is both exciting and frustrating. Exciting for the obvious reasons of progress being made to come up with alternative sources of fuel, but frustrating in thinking that, if there was some way for someone to make more money doing this, we could actually get rid of our dependence on the finite, expensive oil supply and quit being tied to the few people who have it. I just can't shake the feeling that, given just a little time and money, a cheaper, cleaner, more plentiful fuel supply is right at our fingertips, but because there's so much money in the oil business, and because the oil companies have so much power, that it's still several decades and Middle East wars away.
Call me cynical. It's what I am.
Besides that, I wonder if it matter what kind of restaurant the people get their vegetable oil from. Does the car of the woman who gets her oil from the Chinese restaurant smell like Chinese food? Maybe in the future, when we go to fill up our cars, we'll choose between flavors like "french fry" or "chicken strips" instead of regular or premium.
